Our Story

TrusteeConnect was founded from first-hand experience with the challenges of recruiting credible board members in the third sector. We saw too many organisations relying on informal networks or unstructured processes, leading to mismatches, gaps in skills, and unnecessary governance risk.

Our founders bring deep experience in recruitment, leadership development, and board governance. We set out to build a platform that combines professional rigour with the values and purpose of third sector organisations - offering a practical alternative that strengthens governance without compromising mission.
